GLC’s Auto Switch uses geolocation to detect your visitors’ location and automatically display your store in their preferred language and currency. This makes shopping seamless and helps increase the chances of completing a purchase.

I. Understanding Geolocation​

Geolocation detects your visitors' location to automatically show the most relevant language and currency.

To navigate "Geolocation" please follow: "Geolocation" → "Auto Switching" or "Show a recommendation modal" depending on your need.

Two Available Models:​

Automatic switching

Automatically redirects visitors to the correct language/currency as soon as they enter your store.

Show a recommendation modal

Shows a friendly pop-up suggesting the best language and currency for their location. Visitors can confirm or change their preferences.

II. Customized Geolocation Settings​

Step 1: Appearance Settings​

The Appearance Settings allow you to customize both the modal layout and the overall visual style to best match your site’s design and user experience needs.

Content Settings enable you to customize shipping country, language, and currency options based on your visitors’ geographic location, ensuring a personalized and relevant browsing experience.

III. How Geolocation Works​

Step 1: Recommend Pop-up Modal​

Present a localization modal that allows visitors from non-Backup regions to select their preferred options-ensuring they receive the most relevant shopping experience from the moment they arrive.

Step 2: Automatic switching​

GLC enables your store to instantly adjust the language and currency based on each visitor’s location, without requiring any action on their part. This automatic adjustment ensures that every customer sees your store in a format that is familiar and relevant to them from the very first visit.

Language Adaptation

The system automatically switches to the visitor’s native language according to their country and region, allowing them to navigate your store comfortably and intuitively.

Currency Conversion

Prices are instantly converted to the local currency, providing clarity and convenience throughout the purchasing process. Customers can shop confidently, knowing that all pricing is accurate and relevant to their region.
